![]() There was this one time where Sole smacked a raider across the head with an electrified pool cue (which surprise, surprise failed to work) and the guy just stood there dumbstruck which left Macready in a fit of hysterics. Macready – He would never understand why Sole went out there with nothing but a Power Fist and whatever other little gadgets Sole could get their hands on, but it definitely did not come without it’s amusing moments. He was a little confused at first when he discovered the raiders weren’t dead, but hey who was he to judge? When the dust settled however, he was left a little red faced, not a bullet needing to be fired from his gun. But when they first ran forward into a gunfight with nothing but their trusty Power Fist, he couldn’t help but laugh, expecting them to eat up a couple bullets. Taking on Deathclaws, Radstags and the like with nothing but their fists was pretty impressive. Hancock – It’s amazing what a person can do when on psycho, but Sole? Sole was a whole different story and they weren’t even on psycho. He’s had to be careful in the past however, that he didn’t accidentally nip Sole when they were both going toe to toe with the bad guy. He never pried about their reasons for not using a gun, but there were times he wished they did.ĭogmeat – The little fluffy-floof wouldn’t care as long as his master is safe and well. So it was because of that that he insisted on going with Sole to every mission they went on, making sure to use a silenced pistol on the unconscious so Sole didn’t hear. After all, most – heck, all – Railroad missions required some degree of cleaning up unfriendly forces and being able to make sure they never talked, ever. He had doubts that he didn’t voice about Sole going on official Railroad business. That didn’t end well, but all the same, Deacon was impressed. He’d make up some lame jokes about how he wished that the Railroad had thought of the secret weapon that was a pair of fists to take on the entire Institute with, even going so far as to formally make a submission to Desdemona about reforming their tactics from guerrilla warfare to face-to-face fisticuffs. Each time they’d be out together, he would try to get them to change their tactic, but would end up having to come along after Sole had finished their work and making sure whatever it was they beat down wouldn’t be getting back up again. The enemies of the Brotherhood of Steel needed to be put down for good, whether it be gunners, raiders or ferals, it made no difference. However, he saw it as a needless risk they persisted in taking and their peculiar need to not kill whoever they were fighting did get on his nerves now and then. After all, there are only so many things she could learn from a corpse, right? She’s a bit hesitant with Sole only using their fists though, but from what she’s seen they definitely could handle themselves in a fist fight.ĭanse – Danse was impressed with the Sole Survivor’s skills and abilities when it came to hand-to-hand combat, though he probably would never admit it. She’d even convinced Sole now and then to haul back the beasts to a settlement so that it can be studied in captivity. She would be the most supportive of the companions when it came to Sole not killing anyone, even the beasts of the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth was a kill or be killed place, and after many of her failed attempts to get them to go all the way, she just begrudgingly settles for watching their back.Ĭurie – Curie never liked violence, especially killing. The only problem Cait had with Sole’s antics was when they refused to kill, she just couldn’t understand why they’d even care. She also wouldn’t have believed that a Deathclaw could be knocked out cold if she didn’t see Sole march up to it in a suit of power armour before giving the big bastard a good smacking. The first time she watched them beat a raider senseless was also the first time of many where she wanted to throw them down there and then and give them the best damn time of their life. Hell, if she were honest, she would say she could learn a thing or two from Sole when it came to bludgeoning their foes with nothing but their fists. ![]() But took many precautions just to make sure that her newfound companion wouldn’t have the same fate as her previous friends.Ĭait – The fiery redheaded lass would be all for it. Who would have known a Yao Guai could be knocked out with a Power Fist? She wasn’t too phased about Sole not killing, either. ![]() However, after the first few days of travelling with Sole, she saw for herself Sole’s abilities and was impressed. After all, she’s witnessed firsthand what can happen if you let your guard down or go soft. Ada – She’s had to advise Sole in the past that maybe their tactics weren’t necessarily the best to survive the Commonwealth. ![]()
